Q: Do these composite panels work with standard aluminum posts?
A: Yes! Our panels are specifically designed with standard thicknesses that fit perfectly into most universal aluminum or composite fencing post channels. We can also provide a full system including posts, rails, and clips.
Q: How do the panels handle extreme heat and freezing winters?
A: The combination of wood fibers and HDPE gives the panels excellent thermal stability. While all composite materials expand and contract slightly with temperature shifts, our tongue-and-groove system leaves proper clearance inside the post channels to absorb this movement without warping.
Q: Will the fence fade over time?
A: Natural wood turns weathered gray very quickly. Our WPC panels undergo a very minor, natural color stabilization during the first 12 to 16 weeks of outdoor exposure as the wood fibers adapt to sunlight. After this initial phase, the color locks in and remains stable for decades.
Q: Can I easily cut the panels to a custom length during installation?
A: Absolutely. Composite material can be cut, drilled, and routed just like real wood using standard woodworking tools (such as a miter saw or circular saw with a fine-tooth blade).
